To Install a SmartView Certificate on Windows (Mozilla Firefox)

This procedure details the steps for installing a SmartView certificate on a Windows device, for use with Mozilla Firefox.
  1. Open Mozilla Firefox
  2. In the address bar, navigate to about:preferences#privacy
    Tip: You can also access advanced browser settings through the following steps: Menu > Options > Privacy & Security
    Advanced browser settings will be presented.
  3. Select View Certificates
  4. Select Import
    A Windows Explorer window will open.
  5. select the desired certificate
  6. Select Open
  7. Enter the certificate password
    Tip: Please contact APX if you require a certificate password.
  8. Select OK
    An alert will be presented.
  9. Select OK
A SmartView certificate has been succesfully installed on Windows for Mozilla Firefox.
