To Reschedule a Failed Inspection

This procedure details the steps in SmartInspect's Admin Portal for rescheduling a failed inspection.
Note: Ensure that SmartInspect has been selected from the CityScape Admin portal. For more information, see To Access SmartInspect on CityScape Admin.
  1. Select Inspection History Inspection History
    A list of completed inspections will appear.
  2. From the List View, select Failed Inspection Actions for the desired occupancy
    Tip: The search bar above the List View can be used to filter the inspection history list.
    Remember: The details for passed inspections cannot be modified from SmartInspect's Admin Portal. Only failed inspections will present the Failed Inspection Actions option.
  3. Select Reschedule Inspection
    An inspection request window will appear.
  4. In the Inspection Type field, select an inspection type
  5. In the Requested Completion Date field, enter a requested completion date for the inspection request
  6. In the Inspector field, select an inspector to whom the inspection request will be assigned
  7. If necessary, enter information for the following optional fields:
    • Comments - Enter any additional information about the inspection or inspection request
    • Email To - Enter the Email address to which the inspection report should be sent
  8. Select Submit
An inspection has been succesfully rescheduled for a previously completed failed inspection.
