To Import a Document from Safari

This procedure details the steps for importing a document from the Safari browser into a building information plan.
  1. Open Safari
  2. Using the browser, navigate to the desired PDF document
  3. In the top-right of the browser window, tap the Share Sheet button
    A Share Sheet menu will appear.
    Tip: Devices running iOS 10 or older should tap the document itself to reveal an Open in "SmartCapture option. Select this option.
  4. In the Share Sheet menu, tap Copy to SmartCapture
    A SmartCapture Import window will open.
  5. Select Import
    A list of currently synced-down buildings will appear.
    Trouble: If the desired building is not in the displayed list, it may not be synced down. Exit the import process and re-open SmartCapture. Then, sync down the desired building before re-trying the document import.
  6. In the displayed list, tap the desired building
    A dialog will appear.
  7. Tap Yes
    A document name field will appear.
  8. Enter a document name
  9. Tap OK
A document has been successfully imported into a building information plan from the Safari browser.
